Our Story

Shared Vision Prints is an offering from Image3D, which was founded in 1998 by Rich Dubnow — lead photographer at View-Master for twenty years. What began as a kitchen-table operation has grown into a state-of-the-art facility, bringing personalized photo reel experiences via Retroviewer to everyone from individual consumers to major corporations.

With Shared Vision Prints, we're bringing that same commitment to quality and craftsmanship to your high-resolution images, creating printed memories that last for generations.

The Shared Vision Prints Difference

We produce our fine art prints using the Polielettronica LaserLab, a 20-inch professional photo printer — one of very few operating in the United States.

Unlike conventional inkjet printing, our process is photochemical, meaning your prints are made using light rather than pigment. This results in exceptional color stability that stands the test of time, a higher effective resolution that looks strikingly natural — especially in large format and up close — and a finer, smoother graduation of tone. Because light is capable of reproducing a broader spectrum of color than ink pigments, transitions between similar hues are rendered with a subtlety and accuracy that inkjet simply cannot match.

Our Team

As a family business, Image3D has been led by its founder's daughters, Lisa Miller and Bethany Jeanfreau, since his retirement. Lisa and Bethany served as co-presidents from 2021 to 2024, when Bethany left her full-time role at the company and Lisa took over as president. Bethany is now leading the company's initiative to bring Shared Vision Prints to fruition.

Phil Nishikawa is Image3D's Graphics and Imaging Specialist, the creative and technical force behind everything Image3D has printed since 2005, including prints for Shared Vision Prints. He oversees the full image preparation and printing process while also managing the precise machinery, controlled environment, and photo lab where the magic happens.

The rest of Image3D's team includes production, sales, and customer service team members who support both Shared Vision Prints and Retroviewer.
